If more than one member of your family needs to see a doctor, please advise reception when booking so following appointments are not delayed. Longer consultation times are available.
Priority is given to appointments over walk-ins. Emergencies and patients who require urgent medical attention will be given first priority.
Patients are encouraged to request their preferred GP. Upon having a test of any kind, please make an appointment to receive your results.
For all after-hours services please call Sydney Medical Service Co. on (02) 8724 6300. This is a bulk billing service.
The surgery provides a reminder system through our computer software as well as National/State reminder registers. Please inform the doctor if you wish to be excluded from these registers.
The receptionist or nurse will contact you when further check-ups are required. We encourage patients to participate in decision-making about their own healthcare and specialist referrals.
Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain the security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. We abide by the National Privacy Principles.
If you would like to have your medical records transferred to us from another medical practice please ask reception. Please note most medical centres charge a small fee to transfer records.
Home visits are available to regular patients of the practice whose condition prevents them from attending the surgery.
Doctors may be contacted during normal surgery hours. If the doctor is in consultation, a message will be taken and the receptionist will advise when the doctor will return your call. Your call will always be put through in an emergency.
Telephone consults will no longer be bulk billed. The receptionist will advise of the cost at the time of making the appointment.
Home visits, check-ups, family planning, pap smears, pregnancy tests, ECG heart checks, counseling, vaccinations (children's & travel), minor surgery (stitches, lesions removed), liquid nitrogen — freezing therapy for sunspots and warts, nutritional advice, sports medicine, fracture management, and skin checks.

Patients without a current Medicare card will be charged $70.00, payable at the time of consultation. Employment and driving medical examinations incur an out-of-pocket expense; you will be advised of the amount when making the appointment.
We follow the confidentiality guidelines as recommended by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Under special circumstances, patients may request access to their own health information (charges may apply).
